Lounge began with a simple idea: a neighbourhood café bar that feels like home. Not a pub, not a restaurant, not a coffee shop — something altogether cosier. A place where you can nurse a coffee for hours, bring the whole family, meet friends for cocktails, or settle in with the dog and a good book.
The very first Lounge opened its doors and set the tone: mismatched vintage furniture, bold patterned wallpaper, eclectic artwork and warm, friendly service. No two Lounges are the same — each one takes on the personality of its neighbourhood, its building and the people who make it their own.
From that first Lounge, the family has grown to hundreds of home-from-homes across the country, all part of Loungers PLC. But the philosophy hasn't changed: good food and drinks served all day, in a relaxed, welcoming space where everyone fits in.
